Vintage and Moody Winter Wedding in New York City

Catie and Austin wanted to reflect the vintage vibe of their venue, The Bowery Hotel, for their cozy January wedding. We took inspiration from the hotel interiors for the moody color palette and made sure everything felt formal but not stuffy with a custom crest and vintage inspired script. Each piece in their suite was letterpress printed, which added beautiful texture and elegance. We duplexed the invitation card with dark green paper on the back (one of my favorite ways to upgrade any card) and added a die cut RSVP card to match the couple’s crest. A vellum overlay with an illustration of the hotel was laid on top before everything got tucked into the sage green inner envelope. Finally, the outer envelopes were addressed by hand in calligraphy and mailed with coordinating vintage stamps. This suite was a perfect match for the venue, and a perfect match for this thoughtful and elegant couple!
