Multicultural and Colorful Colombian Destination Wedding

Whenever I have a couple who isn’t afraid of my wild ideas, magic always ensues! It was such a treat to design this invitation suite for Gaby and David, the sweetest couple who trusted me completely. Gaby and David were planning a destination wedding weekend in Cartagena, Colombia and wanted invitations and other paper goods that were modern, colorful, and bilingual. In the words of the bride, “the vibe is happy New York, if New York were happy.” I designed over 20 pieces for their wedding, which resulted in a truly epic visual narrative for their wedding weekend. Highlights included a custom embroidered handkerchief for their save the dates, a beautiful letterpress printed folio for the invitation, and acrylic menus with colorful tassels. Tropical, modern, and very fun, this project was one for the books.
