Elegant and Classic Art Museum Wedding in San Francisco

Bianca and Andrew chose to host their wedding at the stunning Legion of Honor museum in San Francisco. With such a beautiful backdrop, inspiration was ripe for the picking for their invitation suite. We pulled heavily from the venue when selecting the color palette for their layered and classic invitations. This color palette is a great example of a classic black and white combo that doesn’t feel boring thanks to the varying shades of cream and pop of olive green.

The couple wanted to get their invitations out as soon as possible, so we printed everything digitally for speed but pulled out all the stops for the extras so the suite still felt special! Including extras like hand written calligraphy addressing, vintage stamps, an inner envelope and liner, as well as a vellum overlay really took this invitation suite to the next level. Since the venue was such a major source of inspiration, we incorporated a venue illustration in the form of a zoomed in vellum overlay and also as a pulled back accommodation card header. To give the suite more formality, we added a vintage monogram to the invitation card and a simplified version to the details card. I love how subtle but special this suite turned out to be!
